Hey everyone!
Today, I'm going to be sharing some of my favorite healthy breakfast hacks that are sure to make your mornings a little bit easier (and a lot more delicious)!
- Overnight oats are a healthy, grab-and-go breakfast option that you can make ahead of time and enjoy all week long. Simply combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, and your favorite fruits and spices in a jar, and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, top with a sprinkle of nuts or seeds for an added boost of protein and healthy fats.
- If you're in the mood for something warm and comforting, try making a healthy breakfast bowl. Start with a base of cooked quinoa or brown rice, and top with sautéed veggies, a fried egg, avocado, and hot sauce. So good, and so good for you!
- If you need a quick breakfast on the go, make a breakfast burrito! Simply wrap up scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, and sautéed veggies in a whole wheat tortilla. You can even make a few ahead of time and freeze them for those mornings when you're really short on time.
- Start your day with a nutrient-packed smoothie. Blend together milk, Greek yogurt, frozen fruit, and a handful of spinach or kale for a drink that's packed with protein, healthy fats, and vitamins and minerals. Add a scoop of protein powder if you need an extra energy boost.
- Make a batch of healthy breakfast cookies or bars at the beginning of the week, and enjoy one (or two) as a quick and easy breakfast on busy mornings. Oatmeal, banana, and nut butter cookies are always a hit in my house!
I hope you find these hacks helpful and that they give you some ideas for how to make healthy breakfast a little easier (and more delicious) in your own life.
Here's to a delicious and nutritious start to your day!
